Hawaii May '08

This is a picture of the famous 'Diamond Head'. Beautiful sandy beaches.

This is the monument built over where the USS Arizona rests. Very different from what I imagined. We learned brothers serving together died. Also there were father and sons serving together. Because of what happened on Dec. 7, 1941 close relatives can no longer serve together.

Mr Daniel is so good. He hiked up a hill to get this picture of the Kona Hawaii Temple. Some of us were too tired or had the wrong shoes on.

This is the famous Hawaii Temple. It is either very close or on the same grounds as the Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU-Hawaii.
