I got so excited to be able to download a picture that was not on the Mexican cruise. This is a picture taken after my father-in-laws funeral in Aug 2007. (My sister is in the picture and my mom also. There are a few extra kids in there to and maybe we are missing some too!) My mom passed away 12 days later,so we were glad to have spent some time with her and take some pictures. We are looking forward to being together this summer. For us those times are few and far between and have become more precious as time goes on. It is good to keep in touch from blogs, email, facebook, phone calls etc. Our children and grandchildren are spread all across the U.S. We seem to see them in smaller groups. So we have a trip planned for Feb. and one for March. Yea for baptisms.

I know Mr Daniel was going to send a picture of our new purchases. I think he is a little frustrated because our new cable box does not seem to be working. This is our second new box. We did watch part of Pirates of the Caribbean and it looked wonderful. So we can watch all the movies we want, just no television shows. We need to get Shelley and Jill on the blogging bandwagon. Shelley is thinking about it and I know Jill would if she wasn't teaching seminary. While I am thinking about it, there was something on the news about a major virus infecting Facebook. So be careful. Make sure you know the person etc. We are excited to have the Cardinals in the Superbowl. I think Daniel wanted to tape it on the DVR, you know the one that isn't working!!
I can say I have finally taken the plunge and decided to start a blog. I am always reading other people's blogs. I don't call it blog stalking, I call it blog surfing. Doesn't that sound so much nicer?? Of course, I needed help from Miss Emily and then Miss Carla to get started. I am just a tad bit computer challenged. Let's hope I can remember how to do things. It will be exciting to see if I can post another picture. Actually I will be excited to see if I can see this post!! So, I will remember baby steps... So Thanks Miss Emily and Miss Carla. Miss Carla and I had a wonderful lunch and lots of talking, talking, and more talking. Sorry, Em I don't think you got a lunch, but maybe next time.
I am an old granny with almost 18 grandchildren. I am always hoping for more. All of my grandchildren live far away so we do lots of traveling. I am proud to be a 4 year breast cancer survivor.
